BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 8. The state budget revenues of Azerbaijan through the State Customs Committee (SCC) exceeded 3.767 billion manat ($2.2 billion) from January through August 2022, growing by 34.06 percent against the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the SCC.

In the reporting period, the state budget gains from customs duties totaled 905.77 million manat ($532.04 million), up by 18.8 percent, or 143.31 million manat ($84.17 million) compared to the same period of 2021.

The budget receipts from VAT amounted to 2.712 billion manat or $1.59 billion (an increase of 41.8 percent year on year), from excises – 106.325 million manat or $62.45 million (a decrease of 0.06 percent), from road taxes – 42.089 million manat or $24.7 million (growth of 49.78 percent).

In 2021, the State Customs Committee fulfilled the forecast for state budget revenues by 111.29 percent. The excess amount rendered to the state budget totaled 440.37 million manat ($258.6 million).
