BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 25. A meeting was held with the business delegation of Russia' Kaliningrad Oblast, who had arrived in Azerbaijan on a business mission, Trend reports citing the Trade Representative of Russia in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the participants of the business mission presented their companies and asked questions of interest about the opportunities for the development of business with Azerbaijan.

Russian trade representative Ruslan Mirsayapov spoke about the work in Azerbaijan's market, the financial and non-financial tools of supporting the exporters, and gave recommendations on logistics and the implementation of contracted payments issues. He also mentioned the additional niches for the promotion of commodity producers in Kaliningrad Oblast.

In turn, Chief Executive of the " National Industrial group" Qabil Guliyev, gave an expert opinion and recommendations on the oil-gas sector, considering the implemented and planned projects in this direction in Azerbaijan.

"The Kaliningrad enterprises were preparing comprehensively for this business mission and are determined to have fruitful negotiations with Azerbaijani partners," said the statement.

In the coming days, the participants of the business mission have planned a large number of negotiations and B2B meetings, as well as visits to specialized enterprises in Azerbaijan.

"The direct interaction of the business communities is very efficient and will allow us to sign export contracts," the statement said.

The delegation included the heads and representatives of five Kaliningrad companies: "Oil and Gas Systems Baltia" (manufacturing and packaging of block-modular equipment for the oil and gas industry), "Quality Mark" (production of canned fish), "Amber Cruise" (tourist services), "ESVA" (production of welding equipment, materials; mechanization, and automation for welding), and "New Oil Technologies" (production of technical oils).
