During negotiations between Uzbekistan’s AKFA Group of Companies and the Italian STM Technologies S.r.l. company, an agreement was signed for the supply of production and technological equipment for production of basalt cotton wool, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
AKFA Group of Companies plans to launch a full cycle of an automated production line in Uzbekistan with a capacity of up to 6 million square meters of basalt wool per year, which will meet strict environmental safety requirements.
The production area will be located on more than 24,000 square meters. Experienced specialists from foreign countries will be involved in the production process, and more than 150 new jobs will become available.
Basalt cotton wool is the modern and most optimal solution for thermal insulation of walls, roofs, floors, foundations, pipelines of residential and industrial premises. It is also insulated with facades, industrial equipment and any other types of building structures.
The launch of the new plant, many years of experience in construction, a highly efficient production line, a special raw material base and a good geographical location will allow AKFA Insulation to become a reliable supplier and partner for the construction industry not only in Uzbekistan but also in Central Asia.
