A number of appointments have been made in the Turkmen government, Trend reports referring to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s decrees.
Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov has been appointed deputy prime minister for economy, work with banking and international financial institutions.
Shamuhammet Durdylyev has been appointed deputy prime minister in charge of the construction and industrial affairs.
The documents were signed at an expanded meeting of the government, the Turkmen Dovlet Khabarlary state news agency reports.
The Turkmen president stressed that the main task of the banking system, as before, is to control inflation rate within the set limits, to provide the economy with the necessary amount of funds by regulating and controlling cash.
Rakhym Gandymov has been appointed minister of construction and architecture; Serdar Berdimuhamedov - minister of industry and construction production; Durdyly Durdylyev - chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber.
Moreover, Guizgeldi Baijanov was appointed chairman of the State Committee for Water Management; Ogulhadjat Ishangulyeva - Chairperson of the Turkmenhaly State Association (Turkmen carpet).
