Turkmenistan plans to build a center for conductin seismic studies and exploratory drilling at the Naip and Bagadja gas fields, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan told Trend.
"In order to improve the efficiency of seismic research, it is planned to purchase a new 3D seismic survey design software for processing and integrating data obtained," noted the embassy.
In addition, the new center will allow the introduction of 4D monitoring technology to optimize oil and gas production from the country's oil and gas fields.
Turkmenistan is actively implementing new technologies in fuel and energy sector to increase the productivity of wells, the report added.
Currently, digitalization is being implemented in all segments of the industry, becoming a platform for technological and production diversification, providing a competitive advantage. The introduction of digital technologies will also help to improve the efficiency of managing the processes of exploration and production.
