Turkish company to build largest grain elevator in Turkmenistan

Turkish Çukurova Silo company will build an elevator with a capacity of 1 million tons of grain in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.

The entire project, including the feasibility assessment, design, preparation of engineering calculations, production, and installation will be carried out by Çukurova Silo.

The project provides for the construction of a complex of grain storage facilities with a "turnkey" condition. The complex will include a transportation system, an automation system, a grain drying complex, and a grain cleaning system.

Upon completion of construction, the facility will become the world's largest grain elevator.

According to the information, the first project of Çukurova Silo in Turkmenistan was the construction of a grain elevator with a capacity of 50,000 tons of grain in 2019.

Turkey is one of the largest trading partners of Turkmenistan: about 600 Turkish companies operating in the field of trade, investment, construction, energy, transport, communications, textile, and processing industries are registered.

Turkmenistan exports products from the textile, fuel and energy, chemical, and agricultural industries. Metal and products made from it, household goods, equipment, building materials, electrical equipment, chemical and light industry products, food, vehicles, and medicines come from Turkey.
