A parking lot is planned to build in Georgian Telavi airport for private jets, Trend reports via Georgian media.
Both Georgian and foreign pilots expressed interest.
They define in the aviation university, that currently, building a specialized hangar is considered.
"Demand for receiving a pilot license increases annually. This concerns both Georgian and foreigners. Graduates and interested people already established several clubs. The idea of building a hangar in Telavi airport comes from them", declares the head of quality assurance service of Georgian Aviation University.
As reported, it will be a space for parking as well as all other necessary services.
As for charter and international flights, the projects related to these matters are suspended.
Due to the pandemic, the rehabilitation of Telavi airport "Mimino" is delayed.
