China would invest $400 billion in development of Iran's infrastructure, according to the 25-year cooperation agreement between Iran and China, said the Vice chairman of the parliament's Article 90 Commission Seyed Hassan Shojaei Kiasari, Trend reports via Fars News Agency.
"The sum would be invested in infrastructure, including development of ports, roads," he said.
"People have not been informed about the details of the agreement and they have questions about it that are fair," he said.
"The US is worried that sanctions against Iran would no longer have effect, with the signing of this agreement," he said.
"The people should know that Iran's enemies are angry about this agreement. It indicates that we're on the right course. China has different agreements with various countries and signing of this agreement shows the increase of cooperation between Iran and China," he said.
"All the contracts under this agreement should be approved by the parliament," he said.
