Construction work from January through June 2021 was completed in Uzbekistan for a total amount of 48.6 trillion ($4.6 billion) soums, Trend reports referring to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
According to the committee, the growth rate of completed construction work for the reporting period amounted to one percent.
In particular, Uzbek state-owned organizations completed construction work for a total of two trillion soums ($188 million). It is noted that their share in the country amounted to 4.1 percent.
At the same time, non-state-owned organizations completed construction work worth 46.6 trillion soums ($4.4 billion) with a total share of 95.9 percent.
In the structure of the total volume of construction work, large construction organizations carried out construction work in the amount of 12.1 trillion soums ($1.1 billion).
In addition, the volume of construction work carried out by small enterprises and microfirms during the reporting period amounted to 27.5 trillion soums ($2.6 billion).
