TNK-BP has sent a request for proposals (RFP) to investment banks for a short-term syndicated loan of $1 billion, sources in banking circles told Interfax .
"This will be a bridge loan repayable in up to a year," one of the sources said.
Another source said the loan would have a tenor of two years.
TNK-BP did not comment on the information.
