Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S. Aliyev / The Director of the Ganja Automobile Plant, Khanlar Fatiyev, said on 4 October that the Plant and Belarusian enterprise 'Dorelektomash' signed an agreement on production of three modifications of equipment on the base of Belarus tractors.
At the first stage, three modifications of the equipment will be produced. Some 80% of the production will be carried out in the Ganja Automobile Plant.
Belarus tractors are currently assembled at the plant. The cost of tractors varies from AZN 13,000 to AZN 35,000. The contract to assemble and sell all types of trucks and tractors of the Minsk Automobile and Minsk Tractors Plants in Azerbaijan was signed in November 2006. The assembly area measures 15,000sq m and has the capacity to assemble up to 1,000 trucks and 2,000 tractors in Azerbaijan a year.
Established in 1998, the Joint Venture 'Dorelektomash' produces machines and equipment for construction and road and territory repair on the base of Belarus tractors.
