Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. А.Badalova / The two day Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors was completed in Baku. The forum for the first time was held in Azerbaijan. Infosystem-LINK, Auditors House of Azerbaijan and Association of Professional Finance Managers of Azerbaijan organized the forum.
International standards of finance accounting in Eurasian countries have been discussed at the forum.
Elkhan Jafarov, the head of the Azerbaijani Finance Accounting and Policy Department at the Finance Ministry, Suleyman Gasimov, the vice-president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, Nuria Novruzova, the chief executive director of Certification Accounting Institute of United Kingdom and vice-president of Azerbaijani finance managers, Zaur Fatizadeh, the head of the Economic Analyze Department and Accounting Department of the Tax Ministry, as well as accountants and auditors from Poland, Canada, Ukraine and the US delivered a report at the conference.
The main issues of discussions included use of international standards of finance accounting in economically significant structures of Azerbaijan, problems occurred during turn to international standards, as well as ways of regulation these problems.
