Russia, Moscow / corr Trend R.Agayev / Crocus International Joint-stock Company opened its office in Shenzhen, China, Emin Agalarov, the Commercial Director of Crocus International, said.
The key tasks of Crocus China are assistance to the implementation of agreements and contracts concluded with the Chinese organizations and search of new partners for cooperation and coordination of activities in the Chinese market. The office will also be involved in study of the opportunities of the market, collection of economic news and marketing.
Touching upon the operations in Russian market Agalarov said that the management of Crocus Expo had concluded talks with the authorities on the establishment of modern сexhibition center in Krasnodar.
'Talks are held for the construction of a new exhibition the construction of a new exhibition venue in Novosibirsk. In future Crocus Expo could also come to Yekaterinburg," Agalarov said.
An agreement was reached on the organization of international exhibition of the Arab countries 'Arabia Expo' at the International Exhibition Center of Crocus Expo in October 2008. It will come as the first unified regional exposition of Arab countries in Russia. Over 30 countries from Asia and Africa are expected to attend the show.
Within the framework of Interavto-2007 the International Exhibition Center of Crocus Expo beat records, which were included in the 'Records Book of Russia'.
The exhibition center was victorious in three nominations: the largest exhibition with the venue covering 394,200 sq m, the biggest area of the unified exhibition complex (548,800 sq m) - three venues connected with passages, the speediest construction - the construction of the third venue with the volume of 2,709.5 cu m since September 2006 to 23 August 23 August 2007).
The record was fixed by the editor-in-chief of 'Records Book of Russia' in the presence of media representatives.
