Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / Azal Sigorta, one of Azerbaijan's largest insurance companies, increased its premiums by 1mln in the 3rd quarter of 2007, which made up AZN 13.036mln, the company reported. Payments of the company in that period amounted to AZN 327.8mln.
In January-June, the premiums of the company accounted to AZN 12.36mln and its payments totalled AZN 0.38mln.
The most part of the premiums was received in accident insurance - AZN 11.929mln, property insurance - AZN 847,000, and obligatory passenger insurance - AZN 90,900.
In January-September, the company paid off 3 insurance types - accident insurance - some AZN 278,400, property insurance - AZN 41,400m and individual accident insurance - AZN 7,900.
Azal Sigorta operating since 1995 with its authorized capital comprising AZN 1mln takes leadership in the amount of insurance premiums in Azerbaijan.
