Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / The application of 'single window' principle does not mean inactivity of businessman in the registration process, Heydar Babayev, the Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development said.
"The businessman should not stay aside during the registration process, but must present required documents," the minister said.
At the decree dated 26 October, the Azerbaijani President adopted the measures on provision of 'single window' principle for activities of enterprises. From 1 January 2008 the system of business doing will be simplified.
Earlier, the business registration term in Azerbaijan was 53 days.
"The Azerbaijani Government is planning to reduce the duration of business registration to 5-7days," the minister said.
