Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / Since the beginning of the year, the Labor Inspection of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection discovered almost 100 death cases in the production, with more than half in the construction sector, the Head of the Labor Inspection, Nabi Shukurlu, said on 1 November.
"The accidents during the construction take place as a result of fall from high storey," Shukurlu said.
The Labor Inspection has repeatedly highlighted the necessity of following technical security regulations in the construction.
In August a 16-storey building collapsed in one of the central streets of Baku. The experts state that one of the reasons of the accidents was to break the technical security regulations.
The Labor Inspection of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection is an organization which regularly searches the labor conditions in the production.
