Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / USAID intends to involve Azerbaijani Government in joint work over Azerbaijan's entering the World Trade Organization (WTO) and to finance a range of joint projects, USAID's coordinator on Azerbaijan Scott Tailor said.
"USAID's action plan on Azerbaijan intended for 2008-2011includes joint work with Azerbaijani Government," he said.
Since 1992 USAID - the US Agency for International Development - invested $284mln to Azerbaijani economics.
Since 1997 Azerbaijan has been an observer country in the WTO.
"Within the framework of its 2-year program USAID intends to implement fiscal, trade and investment projects in Azerbaijan," Tailor said.
