Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Aliyev / The next meeting of the International Association of CIS Subway Association begin in Baku on 7 November, the Baku Subway reported.
The mutual cooperation among the CIS countries Subways will be discussed during the meeting.
The activities of the Association is directed to strengthening of integration relations of Russian and CIS counties subways, as well as exchange of experience, develop of technical documents, discussions of legislations and operating of subways.
The International Subway Association was established in 1992. The Association Subway is the member of the International of Public Transport Union, and therefore has right to take part in all international meetings of the Subway Committee.
Today the members of the Association are the subways of Russia and CIS countries (Moscow, St.Petersburg, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Nijni Novgorod, Tbilisi, Tashkent, Baku, Yerevan, Kiev, Kharkov, Dnepetrovsk and Minsk), as well as Metrovagonmash CJSC , Dinamo-Plus CJSC, Vagonmash CJSC and Kryukov wagon.
