Azerbaijani-Turkish Business-Forum Concluded through Signing Six Agreements

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend I.Khalilova / Two co-operation agreement and four commercial contracts were signed during Azerbaijani-Turkish business-forum which took place on 7 November in Baku within the visit of the Turkish President, Abdullah Gul, to Azerbaijan, said the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, Heydar Babayev, on 7 November.

The agreements were signed between the unions of entrepreneurs and franchising associations of the two countries. "Large franchising development is taking place in the world and I think that the co-operation between the two countries in this field will be the beginning of the development of the franchising operations in Azerbaijan," the Minister said.

A $500.000 contract, signed between Azerbaijani Metanet A and Turkish Varl?k Makina Sanayi dish ve ish ltd, envisages construction of an automatic faience-cement factory.

The contract amounting €500.000 contract was signed between Azerbaijani Nakchivan Furniture Factory and Turkish Kastamonu Entegre Agadj senaye ve tidjaret with regards to purchase of wood boards for the furniture construction. The third contract on acquisition of the raw material for the production of kitchen industrial equipment was signed between Concord Construction and Oztiryakiler. The fourth $400.000 contract envisaging purchase of the service equipment and technologies for testing was concluded between Cahan Holding and Bakirchi Otomotiv.
