Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Khalilova / The Azerbaijani Government agreed upon receiving of the state loan of Poland. Heydar Babayev, the Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development,said that the Azerbaijani and Polish Finance Ministries will discuss conditions and will concretize projects under this loan
"This is privileged loan and it is not allotted for befits of Poland. Our policy on foreign loans is also exactly definite," Babayev said. The loan will be used for implementation of only joint projects between Poland and Azerbaijan.
According to Babayev, the Azerbaijani side is planning to search partner to represent it. He considers the project to cover the construction sector and storage of food products. "Probably, the Azerbaijani Investment Company can be the partner from Azerbaijan," Babayev said.
The sum of loan depends on the cost of the project. The Polish experience shows that minimum amount of the state loan comprises $15mln and maximum is $280mln under the contract signed with China.
"We also agreed we will not focus on the amount of loan, but define the project. We have strong desire to receive privileged loan," Babayev said.
