Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / The Azerbaijani State Committee for Registration of Real Estate registered 721 mortgage credits in October 2007, with 10 of them being land lots, 14 non-residential premises, 565 flats, 49 private houses, 9 cottages, 4 and enterprises, the Committee reported on 12 November.
A total of 7,803 mortgage credits were registered in January to October, 2007.
In summer, the Azerbaijani Mortgage Fund suspended allocation of mortgage credits due to lack of funds. Hence, mortgage credits have been allotted through banks.
