Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / The volume of industry production from January to October in Azerbaijan made up AZN 15,617,4mln, which is by 26.4% more compared to the mentioned period in 2006, the State Statistic Committee reported.
The growth rate in the extractive industry began decreasing again and the rise constituted 32.6% making up AZN 11.079bln, with specific weight making up 71% of total industrial production.
However, the growth rates in extractive industry increased by 1.8% and stood at 5.9% from January to October making up AZN 3.577bln.
The growth rate of industrial production continued within ten months due to rise of production in oil sector. The rise in oil produce sphere made up 32.6%, gas produce - 57.3% and oil process- 6.4%.
The rise in production of rubber and plastic mass constituted 46.9%, engineer and equipments- 74%, vehicles and equipments- 2.6 times, wooden wares and wooden process- 13.5%, foodstuff- 10% and construction materials - 25.7%.
The share of the State sector from January to October stood at 76.7% or AZN 11.984bln in total industry production.
The rise in non-state sector made up 37.3%, but 0.2% in state sector.
