Special Service to Coordinate Large Energy and Transport Projects to be Established at Presidential Administration –Georgian President

Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / The Georgian President Michael Saakashvili stated about establishment of the new service at the Presidential Administration, which will coordinate all large energy and transport projects.

"Kote Kemulariya, former secretary of the National Security Council will be appointed the head of the service. Alexander Lomaya, former Education and Science Minister, will replace Kemulaya, Saakashvili said during the meeting with Culture and Art representatives in the National Museum.

"We will launch construction of the Kars-Akhalkalaki railway. By construction of the railway Georgia will join the European railway system," the Georgian President said.

The President noted the Georgia becomes part of Europe.
