Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Aliyev / A new technical project 'Analysis of Cargo Flows in TRACECA. Inter-regional transport dialogue between the EU and CIS countries' was sanctioned under TRACECA transport corridor, Akif Mustafayev, the TRACECA national coordinator from Azerbaijan, said on 19 November.
WSP and Louis Berger SAS Companies won the tender that will be realized within 24 months. In addition, several more technical projects within TRACECA are supposed to be realized.
The realization of three technical projects will be completed this year. The project of training transport expeditors within the TRACECA transport corridor which is being implemented by the Dutch NEA covers ten countries. Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania do not participate in the project because they have enough developed services in this direction.
The project on training of employees from the marine transportation agencies, carried out by the British Company Knight Smirt. Attending the training project are employees from sea administrations of 4 countries of the transport corridor which has exit to the sea.
The project in training of specialists on delivery of dangerous cargo via the TRACECA transport corridor was carried out by the companies NEA (the Netherlands) and HPTE ( Germany).
