Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhaklia / The Presidents of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey signed an agreement on the commencement of the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which unites the transport systems of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, in Marabda ( South Georgia) on 21 November.
Azerbaijan will allocate a $200mln loan to the Georgian Government over 25 years with a 1% interest rate for the construction of the 29km section of the route and renovation of the Marabda-Akhalkalaki railway sections
Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey signed the final document on the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars in Baku in February.
