Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Aliyev / The preparations for the technical-economic projects of construction of new bridges, crossings and underground stops in Baku will be completed by the end of the year, Musa Panahov, Azerbaijani Transport Minister, stated on 22 November.
Transport Ministry submitted an additional plan of actions to the Government concerning upgrade of transport infrastructure of Baku City for 2008 and 2010. It is planning to construct 11 bridges, 10 crossings and 13 many-storey car stops within the framework of the project.
The Government has allocated AZN 150mln for upgrade of transport infrastructure in Baku for 2006 and 2007. Five bridges and five crossings were put into commission.
