Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / The 47th meeting of the Railway Administrations of the CIS, Baltic states, Finland and Bulgaria in Baku was completed on 23 November.
Eleven issues which mainly covered the railway transportations were considered and solved during the event, the head of the Azerbaijani Railway Arif Askarov said at a press conference after the meeting. According to Askarov, the parties all signed a protocol at the meeting.
At the 46th meeting of the CIS Railway Transport Council which took place in Astana, the heads of the CIS Railway Administrations adopted a new schedule for passenger and cargo trains running through the railway network of the CIS. It was enacted on 27 May 2007.
