Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. U.Ismaylova / Grain production has reduced in 4% in Azerbaijan due to a 45,000 hectare decrease of sowing land for eleven months of 2007, stated Azerbaijani State Statistic Committee head Arif Valiyev.
Agricultural production in Azerbaijan from January to November increased by 4.5%.
During the eleven months Azerbaijan produced more than 1mln tons of potatoes, which is 8% more than the same period in 2006. Vegetable production made up 1.2mln tons and melons and gourds 416,000 tons.
