Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Around 178,700 the active part of population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan was provided with job in December 2007, the NAR's permanent representative in Baku reported. About 2,000 people were provided with job recently.
The average sum of the jobless allowances in NAR total AZN 46.6, which make up 30.7% from the average monthly salaries of people engaged in the economy. NAR opened new 4,500 new jobs, out of which 2,800 are permanent from January to November 2007. Some 36% of them are in the state sector and 60% in the private sector.
