Is BWM 1 Series tii ready for production?

( Worldcarfans ) - Few BMW vehicles have been more cherished than the 2002 tii. That is so true since BMW had chosen the car to demonstrate it could rebuild one of its classic vehicles only with spare parts, in 2006, and also used it as the inspiration for the BMW 1 Series Coupe tii Concept, presented at the Tokyo Motor Show. Natural decision, since this is a car BMW fans are eager to buy again. The good news is that it seems the production version of the concept car has been spotted in Germany by the website 1Addicts.com.

Although there is no information along with the pictures, many features are exactly the same the BMW 1 Series Coupe tii Concept first presented, such as the wheels, the sports bucket seats with Alcantara cover, the rear air dam and the gurney flaps. Some may think all of this equipment could have been bought from tuners, but not the steering wheel with the small screen on the top. It was discreetly presented in Detroit, according to the original topic. Considering the auto show ends today, no one would have had time to develop a similar steering wheel so quick.

No technical specs has been released for the BMW 1 Series Coupe tii Concept besides the size of the wheels (18 inches) and a little mass reduction, in order to make the car run faster, but we can bet on the same engine used by the 135i, a six-cylinder inline biturbo that delivers 306 bhp. Maybe BMW fans won't have to miss the 2002 tii anymore...
