( WorldCarFans )- Porsche is finally bringing the Cayenne GTS to American soil, and we have the pricing information to go with it. Making its U.S. debut at the 100th Chicago auto show in February, the GTS will be revealed to Americans with a $69,300 price tag.
Porsche is marketing the Cayenne GTS as an on-road and off-road mean machine. With 405 horses coming from its 4.8 liter V8, it is hard to call this SUV underpowered. Automatic Tiptronic S is available as an option, with a six-speed manual transmission coming standard. 21-inch alloy rims come standard, as does air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management. Separating the GTS from the rest of the Cayenne model line is the lower body and wheel arches made specifically for the 21-inch alloys. Alcantara keeps the interior looking and feeling Porsche, while keeping the driver and passengers comfortable.
The 2008 Porsche Cayenne GTS is officially on sale beginning in February.
