Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 January / Trend / Azerbaijan's largest cement producer, Garadagh Cement OSC, is planning to increase the volume of the production at the expense of installing new stoves at the enterprise, the Company's Director General, Horia Adrian, said at the meeting with business-partners.
"Last year feasibility study was completed for the project on construction of new stoves. Only it needs to receive consent for it," he said.
According to the Director General, if the project is realized, the production capacity of the plant will be increased up to 4,000 tons of clinker per day and 1.7mln tons of cement per year.
Beginning its activity in Azerbaijan in 1999, the Swiss Company of Holcim Group achieved big successes in Azerbaijan on the base of Garadagh Cement. Up to now, Holcim Group has invested more than $40mln to Garadagh Cement.
