Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 February / corr. Trend U. Ismayilova/ Association of Insurance Companies of Azerbaijan approved the strategic action plan for 2008, the Association said on 16 February.
The meeting of the Association held on 15 February approved the budget for 2008. The membership fees of the insurance companies were approved at AZN5,000.
During the meeting the members of Association got familiar with the conception of School of Insurance and project of First International Insurance Conference to be held in June in Baku.
Two insurance companies, Qarant Sigorta and Az Re. were admitted to the Association. So, the number of the Association members totals to 31.
Association of Insurance Companies was established on 29 December 2006. The Supervisory Board of the Association includes five insurance companies (MBASK, Standard Insurance, International Insurance Companies, Azersigorta, Ateshgah).
