Azerbaijan, Baku, 27 February / Trend / The record figures were registered on 25 February in the organized inter-bank credit market functioning in the electronic trade system BEST of the Baku Inter-Bank Stock Exchange. Some 4 deals were registered in the exchange segment of the currency market during the day totaling into AZN12,130,000. In all, registered deals exceeded AZN15.8mln during the last two days.
The highest activity in 2008 in BEST shows that the banks who are part of the market are more interested in such operations. Some 15 deals have been signed between banks on credit instruments of manat, US dollar and Euro since the beginning of the year. The total sum of the deals amounted to AZN33.7mln which is 4.35 times more than the figures of January and February of 2007.
