Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 April / Trend / In the first quarter (Q1) of 2008, AZN 553.6mln were spent for construction in Azerbaijan, which is by 24.6% more than in the same period in 2007, the State Statistical Committee reported.
The state enterprises spent over AZN 140.2mln and the private ones -AZN 413.4mln.
AZN 419.5mln (75.8%) was spent for construction of new buildings, re-construction and enlargement, AZN 75.8mln (13.7%) for overhaul repair, AZN 28.1mln (5.1%) for maintenance work and AZN 30.2mln (5.4%) for other construction work.
