Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 April / Trend / Azerbaijan's Ministry of Transport has prepared a new transport sector development program for 2009- 2014, a source at Ministry stated. According to the estimates of the Ministry, the program may total nearly $5bln.
The transport sector development program in Azerbaijan will be a part of new State Regional Social-Economic Development, which is being devised currently. The program envisages development, modernization, construction in all spheres of transport and transport infrastructure, the same source stated.
This year, the State Regional Social-Economic Development in Azerbaijan for 2004-2008 will conclude.
