Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 May /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The State Veterinary Service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Agriculture annihilated 14 small-horned livestock due to brucellosis in Niyazabad village of Azerbaijan's district of Khachmaz.
Samples for examination were taken from 1217 small-horned livestock in the village.
The Service states that a ban was imposed on transferring the small-horned livestock form other regions without veterinary certification.
In addition, the Veterinary Service reported that as a result of preventive measures, the level of brucellosis significantly decreased over the past 2-3 years.
