Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 May / Trend corr S. Aliyev/ This year Kazakhstan's Aktau port is expected to transfer about 11.5mln tons of different cargos, Deputy Director of the port Dauren Kutpanbayev said in Baku on 21 May.
According to Kutpanbayev, oil and oil products will comprise about 10mln tons of the transhipped cargo and dry cargo will total 1.5mln tons.
At present, Aktau port tranships about 34% of Caspian cargo. The port plans to increase volume of transportation to 46%, mainly of oil and oil products.
