Azerbaijan, Gadabay, 27 May / Trend corr R. Ragifgizi/ "Azerbaijan International Mining Company is completing construction of a plant to operate a gold field in Azerbaijan's Gadabay region which outline reserves are supposed to exceed 10 tons of gold," Deputy Manager of the company Anatoliy Kharkov said.
"Some 90% of construction of plant's administrative and social premises has been implemented," he said.
According to Kharkov, experimental production will commence in a week.
Every ton of the ore contains 1.5-2gm of gold, 15-20gm of silver and 2-3gm of copper. The metals will be delivered to processing enterprise in Switzerland to produce high-standard golden and silver bars.
Kharkov reported that the metals will be sold at international exchanges.
