Unileasing Registers Bond Issue Prospectus of AZN 1.8mln
Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 June / Trend / The leasing company Unileasing CJSC has registered the percentage paperless bond issue prospectus in the State-run Securities Committee (SSC) with an aim to attract additional resources to finance leasing operations of companies, the company reported.
Total number of issues comprise AZN 1.8mln, nominal cost for one bond make up AZN1,000, yearly interesting rate of bonds was 14% and term for appeal is 360 days.
The financial funds, attracted by the company within the framework of issues, will be directed to finance the mid-scale and small-scale business.
Different financial resources are attracted to finance the projects implemented by Unileasing. The Commercial Bank Unibank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development play the key role in financing of projects. The finances were also attracted via the line of the International Financial Corporation (IFC), Rayffayzenbank, Islamic Corporation to Develop private sector and others.
At present, Unileasing holds the negotiations with different financial institutions, particularly with Eximbank US and Turkey, as well as with Japanese commercial banks to draw funds and to finance different projects of local entrepreneurs.
For this purpose, Unileasing calls representatives of small-scale and large-scale business to cooperate and implement joint projects.
The first bond issue prospectus was registered in SSC in April 2007. The number of issues made up AZN 700,000, with nominal cost AZN 100 for one bond, yearly interest rate -14% and term of appeal was 365 days.
