Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 June / Trend corr I. Khalilova/ "Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) signed a agency agreement with Azneftkimyamash OJSC and thus got the right to represent the interests of the petrochemical enterprise in Western Kazakhstan," AZPROMO President Emil Majidov said on 10 June. An AZPROMO representative has left for Kazakhstan to negotiate supply of oil and gas equipment and services to Kazakh enterprises.
Azerbaijani enterprise initially was holding direct commercial negotiations on the basis of the memorandums concluded last year between Azneftkimyamash and Kazakhstan's Kazpetromash, Kazneftgazmash and Sewon - Vertex Heavy Industry, but they were fruitless due to the cost.
"Given the interest of Kazakh enterprises, we restored negotiations and got juridical right to negotiate on behalf of Azneftkimyamash," Majidov said.
Memorandum envisages establishment of joint enterprises to organize joint production of oil and gas equipment. Azerbaijani and Kazakh companies will jointly determine further projects and will organize joint enterprises in the field of construction, diving job and manufacturing of pumping units.
