Ismayilova/ "In May, 2008, the average price for one square metre in the Baku primary real estate market increased by 4.3% making up $1,138," the public organization Real Estate Market Participants reported on 19 June. In April, 1 square metre in the primary real estate market cost $1,091.
Most of the newly constructed buildings were constructed the Yasamal, Khatai and Nasimi districts in Baku.
Three-room flats comprised majority of the primary market's portfolio. In May, average square of one-room flats in newly constructed buildings totalled 58.8 sq m, two-room - 92.6 sq m, three-room - 136 sq m, four-room - 180.6 sq m, five-room - 233.8 sq m.
In May, 217 companies were constructing 556 buildings in Baku.
