Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 July / corr Trend I.Khalilova / Azerbaijani petrochemical machine-building company Azneftkimyamash OJSC supported a proposal by the State committee in State Property Management to open the Experimental plant and the Baku machine-building plant engaged in oil field devices production, Simran Hasanov, the deputy chairman of the company said.
The company includes 14 machine-building plants and four scientific-research and design-construction institutions. All these enterprises have been changed in to a stock company and their shares are held by the government.
"Their privatization is the President's prerogative and the relevant announcement will be mad at the President's decision," he said.
Azerbaijani petrochemical machine-building company Azneftkimyamash OJSC has produced oil field equipment and geological exploration equipment, tools and spare parts in the sum of AZN 18.6mln in January to June 2008, an increase of 37.1% on the same period of 2007.
In this period Azneftkimyamash sold product worth AZN 16.7mln, with an increase of 45% over the similar period of 2007.
The most productive enterprise was Zabrat machine-building plant which produced machines to the amount at AZN 3.1mln, the Surakhany Machine Building Plant AZN 2.6mln. The production of the Baku Worker plant made up AZN 2.3mln, Sabunchi oil-refinery plant AZN 1.6mln Baku Machine Building Plant at AZN 1.3mln, Sattarkhan Machine Building Plant at AZN 1.4mln, Sardarov plant AZN 1.4mln, Baku Oil Field Plant AZN 2.1mln.
Azneftkimyamash OJSC was established on the basis of the Azneftkimyamash state company by order of the President on 22 March, 2001.
