Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 July / Trend U.Ismayilova / From January to June 2008, Azerbaijan imported $981,763,500 tons of goods from the CIS countries, which made up 31.84% total import to the country, the State Customs Committee reported.
Azerbaijan imported mainly mineral fuel, grains, equipment, mechanicals and goods of ferrous metal from the CIS countries.
The export during this period made up $775,253,600 tons (4.43% of the lump export).
Azerbaijan exported mineral fuel, sugar, pastry, chemical substances, oil products, fat and vegetable oil, cotton, vegetables and fruits to the CIS countries.
