State minister to attend Turkey-American countries trade meetings

Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen will hold talks in the U.S. city of Atlanta.

Tuzmen will attend meetings in Atlanta between October 7 and 9, 2008 as part of the Turkish Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade's strategy to boost commercial relations between Turkey and American countries, announced the Turkish Commercial Attache's Office in New York, reported Worldbulletin.

On Tuesday, October 7, Tuzmen will attend ceremonies to inaugurate the Southeast America Turkish-American Chamber of Commerce (TACC Southeast) and Istanbul Merkezi (Center of Istanbul).

On Wednesday, October 8, Tuzmen will deliver a speech at a meeting of the Southern Center for International Studies.

Minister Tuzmen will later attend the opening of the "Turkish Year" at the Kennesaw State University where the 2008-2009 academic year has been declared as the "Turkish Year".

Tuzmen will leave Atlanta for Turkey on Thursday, September 9.
