Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 October / corr. Trend E.Ismayilov / "Head of the Azerbaijani office of Russian sea shipping register (RSSR)," Dmitriy Shestakov, ex-president of the Register said on October 6.
Shaban Guliyev replaced Dmitriy Shestakov as a result of personnel changes in RSSR.
My contract is finishing on October 9 and Shaban Guliyev will take the duties of the chairman of the board," Shestakov said.
The RSSR's Baku office was established in 1923.
The staff of the office fulfills a set of tasks, aimed at protection of navigation, security of human life in the sea and prevention of environmental pollution.
Specialists of the office take part in the development of rules and instructions of RSSR and implementation of orders of the Marine Administration of Azerbaijan and other countries.
Presently, special attention is focused on safe transportation of dangerous load.
