Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 October /corr. Trend N.Ismaylova / "State Consumer Market Control Service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan commenced establishing Central laboratory on food testing that has not analog in the countries of the region," the acting head of the State Service, Aslan Jafarov, said on 7 October.
"The laboratory will be put into use in 2010," he said.
The Public budget allocated funds for developing project-estimate documentation
and acquisition of the necessary contemporary equipment.
"The establishment of this laboratory is very important from the point of view of an improvement in the quality of foodstuffs in the country and providing of their security," Jafarov said.
