N.Ismayilova / їThe annual expenditure on entrepreneurship functioning license in Azerbaijan is AZN 35mln,ї Boris Divjak, Head of the business-climate upgrade project, said. These accounts were worked out taking into consideration official and unofficial expenditure, as well as on the ground of poll of local companies.
їIf to cancel or even simplify 1/3 of different types of license and permissions in Azerbaijan, expenditure in business-sector will drop to AZN 12.6mln per year,ї said Divjak.
The Government in this case, according to Divjak, will also cut budget expenditure. Today, AZN 16.3mln per year is spent to issue licenses and permissions, while revenues total AZN 12.5mln. The reduction in the number of licenses and permissions will permit the state budget to save AZN 5mln.
Under the President Ilham Aliyevїs decree dated 29 December 2006 On Types of Commercial Activity, which requires special permission (license) the list was worked out, the size of dues and issued licenses approved. Earlier, the list included 37 types. A range of other types were included into the list in 2007 resulting in 56 types.
The state dues size to receive license depending on the type of activity, varies between AZN 220 to AZN 25,000.
