Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 October /corr. Trend N.Ismaylova / The amount of average monthly salary in Azerbaijan as a result of January-September 2008 comprised AZN 256.9, or 23.1% more than 2007, State Statistics Committee said.
The highest salary was maintained in the extractive industry, in finance, real estate operations, rent services.
In January to September, the average salary exceeded average money incomes of population per capita by 26.3%.
In January to September 2008, the nominal income of the population totaled AZN 1703.8mln, which is 34.1% more as compared to 2007. During this period, the nominal income per head made up AZN 1550.2, which exceeds the figure in 2007 by 35.3%.
During the reported period, the money incomes of population totaled AZN 14.56bln, an increase of 35.6% from the last year. Real money incomes of population during this period reached AZN 13.24bln, with an increase of 36.9%.
The rate on 17 October is 0.8092 AZN/USD.
