In 2008, the trade between Belarus and WTO countries may hit $30 billion, deputy director of the foreign economy department of the Foreign Ministry Anton Kudasov said during the seminar "World Trade Organization. Economic and Ecological Aspects of the Accession".
All in all, in 2008, Belarus' foreign trade is expected to be $70 billion, reproted Belta.
He also noted that at present the share of the WTO and EurAsEC member countries in the total foreign trade of Belarus is almost similar.
The seminar "World Trade Organization. Economic and Ecological Aspects of Accession" is held in Minsk on October 23-24. Attending the forum are representatives of the governmental bodies, the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, business unions and associations, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, international experts.
